In 2024, a trilateral university center was launched jointly by National Taiwan University (NTU), the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), and the University of Tsukuba (UT).
It funded 24 trilateral projects in 2025. This first trilateral workshop aimed to showcase the results of these projects and to further expand the tripartite momentum initiated, bringing together researchers, PhD candidates, and students.
While all academic disciplines were represented, particular emphasis was placed on:
• Semiconductors
• Data science and artificial intelligence
• Green materials and energy
• Sustainability and environmental sciences
• Scarcities: Resilience of critical metals supply chains
• Linkext: Generalizing link-homotopy into classified model cases
• Buddhamem: Bringing together Buddhism and analytic philosophy to broaden understanding around memory
• Echo: Determining the influence of connecting opinions and beliefs on the creation of echo chambers in social networks
• PILE: Phraseology In Language Education
• EEAS: Euro-Asia Artificial Intelligence and Society
• Nobe45: Pushing the boundaries of millimeter-wave detection
• WISE-INCON: Women In Science and Engineering INternational CONnection
• LHC-ML_Si_Det : Aligning international expertise to master the complexity of Jet Structure
• CISPENC: Collaborative International Short Program unites expertise in Earth Sciences and Chemistry
• MOGEO: Developing modern framework and numerical tools for applied geomechanics problems
• Investigation of defect characteristics and their correlation with device performance in wide bandgap semiconductors
